Reduce Word Count Through Integrating Multimedia

When determining the design and development of documents such as product manuals, training materials, demos, etc., sometimes a video can help to reduce a tremendous amount of descriptive text or make an explanation simpler. This is especially true if that information is multilingual. You can also integrate that video in an Interactive document with a full range of features including full text searching capability. Interactive content can also increase portability as you can share the files through a website or by email. You may add a personalized link to the multilingual company website based on the language of the file and many other options to enrich and improve audience experience.

Arabic and Hebrew support in InDesign CS6

In order to create Arabic and Hebrew content, graphic designers and desktop publishers need to address several typographical aspects of the Arabic and Hebrew written scripts.

Many people do not realize but the Arabic writing system is the second most widely used script in the world next to the Latin script.

There are many differences between the Arabic and Hebrew languages including the different appearances in their alphabets, Hebrew letters are written individually while Arabic letters are strung together in cursive and the number of letters in each alphabet, Hebrew has 22 and Arabic has 28.

XML and Structured Frame Optimization using FrameMaker 11

Content Strategy at Adobe Day - Lavacon and Localization World 2012

A common concern I hear from my clients is “I heard that FrameMaker is hard to use, so I am nervous about moving from word”.
